How and where can we pick up the cargo at the destination?

We will provide you with the necessary paperwork for custom clearance, once custom is done, you can go to the warehouse to pick up the cargo. We also advise you to check with destination custom prior to shipment departs, just to make sure if there’s any special rule & regulation at the destination for certain commodities

What is a freight forwarder?

A freight forwarder, forwarder, or forwarding agent, also known as a non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC), is a person or company that organizes shipments for individuals or corporations to get goods from the manufacturer or producer to a market, customer or final point of distribution. Forwarders contract with a carrier to move the goods. A forwarder does not move the goods but acts as an expert in supply chain management.

A forwarder contracts with carriers to move cargo ranging from raw agricultural products to manufactured goods. Freight can be booked on a variety of shipping providers, including ships, airplanes, trucks, and railroads. It is not unusual for a single shipment to move on multiple carrier types. International freight forwarders typically handle international shipments. International freight forwarders have additional expertise in preparing and processing customs and other documentation and performing activities pertaining to international shipments.

What is typically transit time?

Airport to airport 3-5 days on average. A door-to-door delivery varies depending on customs clearance, estimate 5-7 days. Delays and/or changes to schedules can happen. Best way to make the cargo ship as quickly as possible is to make sure all paperwork is properly filed beforehand, this eases the customs process.

Why do you require dimensions and weights to get a rate quote for LCL

LCL and air freight shipment rates are based on volume or gross weight, whichever is greater. In order to calculate the volume of a shipment, the dimensions of each piece are required. If the volume weight exceeds the actual gross weight, the shipment is rated at the volume weight. If the volume weight is less than the actual weight, the shipment is rated at the actual weigh
